I am not a Mac user hence cannot use Apple Aperture. Adobe Lightroom is expensive at $150.
I was on the lookout for a freeware substitute that has the look and feel of Aperture and Lightroom.
And today, I finally discovered it on the web.

Its called Lightbox and can be downloaded from here.

I have only used it for a few minutes and have already started liking it. I might even go for its advanced version called Sagelight which is a try before buy package for $40.
