Bal Ganesh

I got a Nikon D80 body some days back. I am very happy with the acquisition as I wanted it for a very long time.

Here is a macro photography session with my new D80.

Our Bal Ganesh is about 50mm tall.

The first one below is a 100% crop of the picture clicked with the 50mm lens.

The second is a 100% crop of the picture taken with the 105mm Macro lens. 

Today's Full Moon

All photographers with high magnification lenses aspire to click the moon and try to click the best pictures.

Its a challenge to put ones equipment and skills to test and see what can be achieved.
Here is my contribution to the many moon shots on the net.

Magical Kelwa

I was taking pictures of my colleagues playing cricket during our company picnic in Dec 2010, when I noticed the smoke and sun rays at play in the trees and clicked with my colleagues Nikon P80.
